1.
It does not seem This century Has been to kind to me If only I Had thought to unglue this mind All in good time But until then Madness reigns It seems to me We peddle dreams As pure apathy If only I Had invested time In some capacity But until then Madness reigns
2.
Dictator 04:31
A symphony of false dichotomies A binary solution that I do not need Express delivery on a darkened street Squelching mud underneath my feet A symmetry of unclear past events Unerringly obtuse and without sense My mind is like a laundrette in disarray Sodden clothes on a window pane Time slows down World tumbles As your Lenient Benevolent Dictator Disapproves Your eloquent Emollient Dictator Consumes The architect of unbiased intellect Consuming anything you might regret The suspense is merely causing mild duress I don’t know and I won’t confess A relatable if unclear anecdote Tumbles from your mouth before you up and choke Expect to be oppressed by boring men Not that you’re any better than them Time slows down World tumbles As your Lenient Benevolent Dictator Disapproves Your eloquent Emollient Dictator Consumes

I lay my body down To decimate my thoughts Over your strenuous objections Hard fought In darkened corridors I wander aimlessly You try to flick the switch And offer reprieve What on earth am I gonna do Where the hell am I gonna go You believe nothing ever glows You recede thought I’d let you know Death by a thousand cuts A pattern evolved Superfluous remorse With nothing resolved I lay my body down You lay down with me It is a different kind of future We seek What on earth am I gonna do Where the hell am I gonna go You believe nothing ever glows You recede thought I’d let you know
4.
The performative aspect of my Post traumatic stress syndrome crumbles Under the withering gaze of the Chairman of a panel of experts All evidence points to the obvious Emotional vampire Surveying your empire Emotional vampire Fraudulent desire The regressive analogy Is barely half of they want you to disbelieve Inside their toxic cloud of Mind-bending delusion All evidence points to the obvious Emotional vampire Surveying your empire Emotional vampire Fraudulent desire
5.
Suburbia 03:53
Bright, shiny images and Paste-on smiles First past the post, yet somehow Exiled I chose the lane less travelled Or so it seemed Only to end up feeling Deceived Oh, no How low can you go Wipe that smirk off your face Exit utopia You have no right to feel displaced Enter suburbia I’ve got no inclination To trust anyone I’ve got to claw my way out Like everyone Oh, no How low can you go Wipe that smirk off your face Exit utopia You have no right to feel displaced Enter suburbia
6.
The Plague 04:33
I’m running out of things to say I’m running out of time It’s not enough There’s no reprieve That’s what I choose to believe You’re trying hard to look sincere But you’re committed to lie You act surprised And play the part That you knew from the start Cause I know what you’re dreaming of It’s written on your face I know what you’re thinking of Your thoughts are like the plague I’m not going there I know I’m chasing down a rolling cloud Struggling to be free You tighten the knot You pull the leash You think you know what it means Cause I know what you’re dreaming of It’s written on your face I know what you’re thinking of Your thoughts are like the plague I’m not going there I know
7.
Exit Music 03:05
Tango in the night time Is the right time To go home Although I never told you so I’ve got to be alone To belong It can’t be, it just cannot be real You’re fucking kidding me Are you real ? Fine art or maybe real estate Promise to deviate Or delay Can’t you see You’ll be the end of me In the pale yellow moon glow we’ll stroll On towards the fade out Exit music will play I can’t sleep but still I need to dream The endless sacrifice For my art Oh gawd, you’re such a philistine Stop taking up my time And go away Tango is the right time In the night time To belong Cheap booze, is it an excuse Or just sustenance Who can say Can’t you see You’ll be the end of me In the pale yellow moon glow we’ll stroll Empty promises Fall on deaf ears No mistakes, no regrets none at all On towards the fade out Exit music will play
8.
Knife Edge 03:42
I walk A serrated knife edge Unknown It's already too late It's time... You say go When you mean stay When I say no It means I'll pay I drift Like a broken insect Unknown In a flow of neglect It's time... You say go When you mean stay When I say no It means I'll pay
9.
I backed down Then thought better of it Saw a way out but never caught it Didn’t think it would amount to anything But not anything is better than nothing Well that might be devoid of any logic I don’t know but I am all for it A solution in search of a problem Or ten, I do know where to find them One for the road, honey Ten for the running Two for the toad Twenty more for the bunny One for the road bunny Ten for the honey Two for the toad Now you’re losing all your money I really....want you I really....need you I slowed down But the clock was ticking I might have been ripe for the picking A solution in search of a problem Or ten , you do know where to find them One for the road, honey Ten for the running Two for the toad Twenty more for the bunny One for the road bunny Ten for the honey Two for the toad Now you’re losing all your money I really....want you I really....need you
10.
Further down the rabbit hole Of useless faux-work You owe the world, the society Your everything, your worth Passed down through generations The obligation to serve Yours is not to question why You don’t even get to do or die They Will Make You Pay Never mind the growing din The noise will not relent Dive right in, it’s sink or swim And more fake money spent This slate can’t be wiped clean It’s an existential debt And you will carry it to your grave The one goal for which you’ve been enslaved They Will Make You Pay

about

This is the album. It is done. It has ten(*) songs.

About the album title: It refers to the ship on the cover. I played a gig there a while ago. S/S Bore is an old cruise liner, now a hostel/restaurant, permanently moored in Turku harbour in Finland. Fun fact: Chris Holmes of WASP fame used to live there.

I want to thank Sini, aka Blue Lemming, for her continued support of my artistic pursuits. This release is dedicated, with much love, to her.

(*) I know I told some people it would only have seven. I had a late change of heart about Knife Edge and an even later one for I Really Want You. And then Existential Debt kept hounding me so I added that one, too.
