This song title has been kicking around for a couple years, at least. The song is about sociopathic narcissists.

I came up with the first draft in the fall of 2021, and it was just pure synth pop, very simple, all in one key etc. But being a guitar player I couldn't resist adding an off kilter solo right in the middle of the song and that kind of derailed the song for a long time. When I resumed work on it, the synth elements were almost all dropped and it became more guitar driven.

And the end result is decidedly odd; an exercise in trying to cram as many different moods and styles into a four minute song as possible. And key changes, always key changes.

I swear, I tried to write a song that stays in the same key throughout, but instead you get endless modulations.
