By the time I got to this song - "I Beat" as it was originally known - I was fully committed to Disco Dystopia. This song shouldn't work, and some days I think it doesn't, but most days it packs an enjoyable punch. The chorus veered down a Black Distortion style path with all the minor chords but what the hell, why not?

When I wrote this, I was reading quite a bit about cryptocurrencies and the lyrics touch upon the subject and feature a subtle shoutout to one my favourite (critical) writers in the cryptosphere.
